Remote Learning - September 2021
If your child is displaying any symptoms in line with the current government guidelines, we ask that you get your child tested with a PCR test. The current government guidance is that children no longer have to self isolate if they are asymptomatic but have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19. However, it is recommended that in such situations, that a PCR test is undertaken to confirm they are not positive - even if they are not showing symptoms.
Where a child is waiting for test results but well enough to work, please contact your child's teacher through ClassDojo or via the school office and we will set work for them so they can continue their learning. We have a bank of devices - laptops and tablets that can help your child access resources if need be and are happy to lend them out to you.
Remote Learning - January 2021
As we start the new year we find ourselves in another national lockdown which means we are back to remote learning. This time around, our offer is quite different from the previous lockdown.
All classes will have 3 live lessons per day, as well as additional intervention sessions and pre-recorded lessons. Teachers will be available throughout the day to provide additional support and help should you or your family need it. Paper packs are still available for you if you need these as well as home learning resources packs.
Staying Safe Online
Whilst children are accessing many different sites online as part of their home learning and enjoyment it is important that they remain safe as always and are aware of what to do if they see something they think is not right. Please take a look at the posters and weblinks below to keep this fresh in the children's minds.
