The school receives additional funding ("Pupil Premium") each year to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. Here is our annual 'Pupil Premium Funding Report' detailing what was received and how this money was used.
PE and Sports Funding
The school receives a sum of money each year to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport we offer. Here is the 'PE and Sports Funding Report' for 2014-2015 detailing what funding was received, how it was used and the impact that this had.
In 2015-2016 it is planned to use the funding to support the review of our PE curriculum for all children, to provide high quality staff training on aspects of the PE curriculum, as well as to purchase resources and equipment to support the new curriculum plan. It will also be used to employ external providers to allow more children to access sports based clubs after school and to support more children to access competitive sport through locally planned matches and tournaments. A detailed report of these plans including a financial breakdown will be available here soon.
