The pupil premium is an allocation of funding provided to schools to support groups of children who have been identified nationally as being at risk of underachievement. The amount received is dependent on the number of children who qualify for this funding. Funding is given where children are registered for free school meals, are looked after by a local authority or the families of members of the armed services. P.E. and Sports Premium
At Edenbridge Primary School we aim to use this funding to provide high quality staff training on aspects of the PE curriculum, as well as to purchase resources and equipment to support the new curriculum plan. It is also used to employ external providers to allow more children to access sports based clubs after school and to support more children to access competitive sport through locally planned matches and tournaments. For more information please see our more detailed reports for this year and last year.
